Doors will open at 7:00 AM.
PARKING:
Parking is allowed on Elk Grove
Blvd, across the street, on the
north side. No
parking is allowed on the
school, south, side of EG blvd.
Entrance for
back lot parking is door #24.
The back parking lot is HUGE.
You will have to walk through
the
field house to get to the
pool.
LOCKER ROOMS:
Due to the small size of the
locker rooms. THE
MENS LOCKER ROOM WILL ALSO BE
THE WOMEN'S Locker Room.
We will have a Marshall
at both the hallway door and the
pool deck door to make sure that
this happens. Swimmers may use locker rooms to change and shower. However, personal
items are not to be stored in lockers.

Admission Fee:
Adults $5.00
Students, non-participation swimmers, and those 5 and over $1.00
Food:
Food will be available throughout the day in the concession area. No
food will be allowed on the deck at any time.
Swimmer Conduct:
All swimmers must remain in authorized areas during the meet. Parental
supervision of swimmers in the locker room, holding area, is expected. Any
misconduct or inappropriate actions by a swimmer may result in the immediate
expulsion of the swimmer from the meet. this action will be at the
discretion of the Meet Referee and the Meet Director.
Smoking:
The Niles West High School is a No Smoking Facility.
Medical:
Medical personnel will be available for the duration of the meet.
Scoring:
The Girls and Boys District Championship Meets will be scored through 12
places as indicated by the NCAA Swimming Guide. Consolation finals will
not be held. Seventh through 12th places will be determined by prelim
times. A tie for 6th place will result in a swim off.
Awards:
Medals are awarded for the 1st through 12th place in all events.
Plaques will be awarded to the team with the age group high point: trophies to
the teams with the top 6 score totals. Heat winners are recognized with a
small prize. Medals for places 1st through 6th will be awarded to the
swimmers on deck.
Meet Timers:
Please notify your swimmers' parents that they will have responsibility for
timing. Timing assignments will be made proportionate to the number of
entries to the meet. Teams may staff their lanes as they choose.
Deck Passes:
Deck passes will be issued to credentialed coaches, official & meet
personnel. NO one will be allowed on deck during the meet without proper
identification. Deck passes will be issued to coaches who have submitted
proper certifications to Chris Bertana.
Officials:
All officials shall be experienced and credentialed. All officials
shall work under the direction of the Meet Referee and the District Officials
Coordinator. Officials are to dress in white uniform as required by
Illinois/Missouri Area Guidelines. (White collared shirt, white trousers
or shorts and white shoes.) Starters and Referees working finals shall
wear a tie.
