Marissa Reeve: Marissa is currently a Freshmen swimming for Minnesota State University. She is currently swimming Free Distance Events and has had great success. Marissa is currently 4th all-time in the 1650 at MSU, 3rd in the 1000, 2nd in the 500 and 10th in the 400IM. You can follow Marissa at the following link. Minnesota State Mavericks Marissa is swimming at Minnesota Challenge this weekend. So far she has swam anchor on the 'C' 200 free relay (17th place) and stepped in to swim the backstroke leg of the 'B' 400 medley relay (13th place). Her back time of 1:04.73 is a personal best. Marissa also finished 10th in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:17.35 2-17-10 Marissa is swimming at her Conference Championship this weekend. On Day one not only did she set a new team record in the 1000 Yard Freestyle for the Mavericks she also won her event with a time of 10:33.31. Congratulations Marissa. To read more on Day One of the Meet follow this Link Day One. 2-18-10 Marissa is seeded was 4th in the 500 and swam a personal best in prelims to move up to 3rd seed. She swam another personal best in finals finishing 2nd with a time of 5:09.27 and missing the team record by .16 seconds. To read more on Day Three of the Meet follow this Link Day Three. 2-20-10 Marissa was named Freshman Swimmer of the Meet by finishing 1st in the 1650 Freestyle and helping the Mavericks claim third place at their meet. Steven Mathe: Steven is currently a freshmen swimming for Carthage College. He is currently swimming Free Distance Events and also has had great success finishing 1st in his events at many of their meets. You can follow Steven at the following link. Carthage College Red Men. Last Weekend Steven helped the Red Men win the Wisconsin Private College Championship swimming the 1650 Freestyle finishing 3rd by dropping 17 seconds for a personnel best time of 17:53.19 2-20-10 Steven swimming for the Red Men at their Conference Championship this weekend finished 5th in the 1650 Yard Freestyle swimming a personal best of 16:51.76
